Our week of laziness in Mali Losinj comes to an end and catches us a little by surprise. We leave the island of Losinj and head to the mountains for some hiking, however on arriving we find that storms are on the way. Since there are more national parks further south that I want to go to, and better weather on the islands, we instead head south to Zadar, and on whim take the ferry out to the island of Dugi Otok.

Snorkeling on Dugi Otok
The island of Dugi Otok has a good selection of beaches, crystal clean water, a funky looking saltwater lake, huge hundred metre cliffs, a nature park and a national park to the south of it made up of a few hundred islands. What isn’t to like? We rent an great apartment in Sali for a week and quickly go to sleep.
